It has stood as a beacon of hope for hundreds of years, may it long continue to illuminate our city and our lives.

During WW2, shopkeeper, George O’Sullivan of Nicholas St. #Limerick made ‘chocolate’ #EasterEggs to sell as there was a chocolate shortage - he used wafers shaped into eggs & painted them with cocoa powder. These are the original moulds as shared with me by Hanora Ní Shúilleabh #Easter
