@MylesKingston ImagesLimerick Nicholas Street, Limerick There's a coat of paint on O'Dwyers bridge now which is a relatively recent phenomenon. This chap with the wheelbarrow is my Grandad Joseph Quinn then of Rutland St working on it's construction some 60 years earlier again in 1931

During WW2, shopkeeper, George O’Sullivan of Nicholas St. #Limerick made ‘chocolate’ #EasterEggs to sell as there was a chocolate shortage - he used wafers shaped into eggs & painted them with cocoa powder. These are the original moulds as shared with me by Hanora Ní Shúilleabh #Easter
