VoteHub has been tracking precinct-level early vote data in TN-07 as Tennessee counties reported it over the past few weeks. I estimate voters so far were Trump+5 in 2024, meaning Behn may be in the lead right now. Whether she holds on or GOP surges on election day is TBD.

I know you have a narrative to push, but it’s *extremely* unlikely a more moderate Dem nominee would have made a ~9 point difference. There aren’t many persuadable suburban centrist types in TN-07, and a more moderate candidate easily could’ve gotten worse turnout in Nashville.

Leave the binary of "did you win" aside: I also think this is a *major* flag for Republicans. Turnout hit 2022 midterm levels, Democrats ran a DSA-esque candidate in a Trump +22 seat, got massively outspent, and then still lost by just 9%. That's really bad for the GOP.
