The relational lessons of the early years are all about trust. Whatever it is you learn from the older people around you becomes woven into your biology. It's unnervingly fascinating.

This is one insight that educationalists who want to divide the 'traumatised kids' frm the 'ordinary kids' miss out on. I wish the term 'trauma-informed practice' was not the one that caught on. We could have called it 'biologically-informed'. Gerry🧠🌱 graham chatterley
