A big thank you to Erin McGreehan TD for her work alongside Polio Survivors IRL who highlighted some important issues today surrounding polio and disability in Ireland as we approach #worldpolioday this Friday. In Ireland there are approximately 7,000 survivors of polio.

I fully support the requests for more government support from Debra - The Butterfly Skin Charity whose members highlighted the condition 'Epidermolysis Bullosa' or 'Butterfly Skin' in a powerful presentation today organised by Paul McAuliffe TD. It affects 1 in 18,000 babies born in Ireland approx.
