Students are trying to learn in schools with leaky roofs, aging buildings, & large class sizes. That’s what this government should be focused on, not meddling with internal structures and pushing out democratically elected leaders and trustees to install well-paid insiders.

Ford ran on a promise to stop the gravy train. Then he spent $30M of your money on his gravy plane. He should be flying economy like the rest of us.

Groceries are up about 30% in just a few years. Gas is up 33% in the last few months. And 1,000 people a day are being treated in hospital hallways. Meanwhile, Ford is refusing to ban AI-driven surveillance pricing, changing the law to hide his personal cell phone records,

Probably worth noting that Canada’s foreign affairs minister (and other ministers) mostly fly commercial internationally… Also Finnish President Alexander Stubb was on my United flight Monday from Dulles to Ottawa. (I went for a funeral). Not sure why the Premier needs a jet.

I was on CP24 Breakfast this morning when the story broke that Doug Ford spent $30M on a private jet – here was my response:

In Question Period today I searched but couldn’t find Ford’s private jet in the budget. The Speaker told me to stop using a prop. I agree, their budget was nothing but a prop…

BREAKING: The Ford government just voted to fast-track a law that would permanently shield Doug Ford’s phone records from the public, keeping you in the dark about how your tax dollars are being used. Watch this video where I break it down.

I've called on the Auditor General to investigate the full cost of Doug Ford's $30M jet disaster. The purchase. The outfitting. The resale. The losses. Ontarians deserve to know how much this cost them.

I've asked the Ontario Liberal and Green leaders to join me in calling for a full Auditor General investigation into Ford's $30M jet disaster. The good people of Ontario are looking to us to be united in pursuit of accountability and transparency.

#BREAKING: The Ford government just scheduled late-night sittings – until midnight – to ram through FOI changes. Just when you thought this government couldn’t get any worse, they’re now scheduling late night sittings to quietly change the rules, hoping to keep Ontarians in the

In committee the Minister of Municipal Affairs couldn’t name a single qualification they’ll look for when appointing their hand-picked regional chairs with strong mayor powers. These unelected chairs will have control over budgets & property taxes yet the Minister had no answers.

Bill 100 would hand unprecedented authority over regional council budgets & operations to unelected appointees. We see this legislation as a serious attack on local democracy and will be strongly opposing it. 1/2 cbc.ca/news/canada/ha…

When asked how appointing a regional chair with “strong mayor” powers would lower property taxes in Niagara, the Minister responded “I don’t think it particularly does”. 2/2

At committee for Bill 100 appointing regional chairs, I asked why hearings had little notice, leaving presenters no time to prepare, & featured many witnesses seemingly prompted by the government. The chair shut down my question. Public input must be open, fair, & transparent.
