Have really liked Mantinpalo’s game so far today.

Not an awful period imo. Praying Zub is okay. One bad mistake from the goalie is the difference so far. Ullmark did make some huge stops on that 5on3 though. This game is still in play. Sens need to find a way to win some puck battles and create a little space though.

End of a shift, but would have loved Foegele to drive the net there. Outside back hand flips with no one in front are not going to score any goals.

Carolina is so frustrating to play against. I don't even think Ottawa's done anything particularly wrong today... they just can't get anything going. Frankly, the Batherson/Tkachuk chances have to be in the net, and Ullmark can't allow that first goal. Ramp up the physicality

Much like last years Game 1, some pretty back breaking penalties after they’re down 2. That one seems like more bad luck than anything, but still. Tough to generate offence on the PK.

Yeahhh, not going to win games doing this. Multiple 5on3’s is inexcusable.

Just teeing up largely uncontested shots from the blueline and being surprised when they get blocked. Better be making some serious adjustments on their day off to try something new in Game 2.
