Really enjoyable study focused on photoredox catalysis combined with nucleophilic catalysis. Tricky design to demonstrate but interesting outcomes and a fun colab with Polyzos Lab and supported by Australian Research Council Congrats to Jing, Toni and Jose. Angewandte Chemie doi.org/10.1002/anie.2…
An excellent collaboration with LuptonChem exploring the merger of organophosphine and photoredox catalysis - appreciated the opportunity to work with the team. Thanks DWL and congrats Jin, Antonia and Jose José Forni. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an…
Dario Lasch, exchange MSc student from peterhuylab.de Universität Rostock, is not only here with us UNSW Chemical Society to discover new metathesis methods but also produce excellent home-made beers #ozchem #germanchemists #RealTimeChem

Inspiring talk this morning by Vinh Nguyen at School of Chemistry | University of Melbourne 🤩 🙌 #OzChem
Very interesting reactivity, Nguyen Lab at UNSW Sydney ! 👏
Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a luminous New Year from the Nguyen Lab at UNSW Sydney! This Christmas globe features the solid state fluorescence of benzil crystals when irradiated with long UV😊🎄🌈✨
Our new approach to enantioconvergent reactions is available Nature Chemistry. We hope the community finds it interesting and we’re excited to see how others might be able to exploit this concept! nature.com/articles/s4155… #Stereochemistry #AsymmetricSynthesis #Enantioconvergent
Three Drs from the group graduated from UNSW Science UNSW Chemical Society yesterday. Congratulations to Drs Son Doan, Tuong To and Nhan Ton, who’re already onto their next academic adventures in Oz and Germany right after graduation. Employment yield 100% #ozchem #PhD #postdoc
Proudly present our novel molecular framework: more bent -> more blue-shifted with increased PLQY #ozchem Project led by Domenic Pace, in collaboration with Reece Crocker ⌬ and teams of Dr Wallace Wong, Binh Khanh Mai and Prof. Tim Schmidt, now on Adv Optical Mat: doi.org/10.1002/adom.2…
