My portfolio site has become so unwieldy, so I started playing with the Hugo static site generator. There is a small learning curve, but it offers more customizability (and less bloat) for a personal webpage. Plus, I can cut the Adobe CC subscription for good 😭

the culture around open source software is kind of rotten, people feel entitled to infinite amount of work for free but don't contribute anything themselves. tbh it would be fine if they didn't get irrationally angry at developers (like me) for not doing everything they want

I actually thought most people would say“Yoo-ni”, so the result surprised me! The correct pronunciation is “Oo-ni”, but I like “Yoo-ni” too. In Japan, “Uni” is often used as a cute pet name― not really related to sea urchins. But I like it when people call him that :3

Experimenting with a compact "clip-and-go" design, made for attaching a Meshtastic node (in this case a T114) to a bag or backpack. Currently, it's a snap fit case, but to handle swinging around, I may add a slot for an M3 screw to hold things together for peace of mind.
