This morning NFA P-TECH Freshmen participated in #HourOfCode2022! Upperclassmen educated their younger peers on the fundamentals of circuitry, and guided them through building a blinking LED circuit controlled by a potentiometer. Awesome job NFA PTECH Scholars!

So many things to celebrate this month NFA Ptech 👁🦅! This week our Year 2 Scholars toured SUNY Orange’s beautiful Newburgh campus, where they will begin classes next year. Later we were accompanied by IBMers for a fun activity (and pizza!).

Just the other day our Newburgh P-TECH students were experimenting with arduinos. It was a great experience for everyone and kept them engaged and excited!

Happy Memorial Day! Memorial Day is a day of remberance to those who have given their lives to serve this country. These people helped preserve our freedom and our democracy. We are thankful to them for their service and their sacrifice. We could not be more grateful to them.

Recently Juniors and Seniors alike at NFA P-TECH had gone on a trip the the beautiful Mount Beacon. Here they were able to get outside and experience the environment around them. This was a time for bonding, bonding with peers and bonding with teachers. Everyone had a great time!

Just last week we had a celebration for NFA P-TECH students graduating with their associates degree. The were greeted with snacks and the ability to meet up and see teachers, parents, and more. It was a great experience and a great day for everyone their! Very Exciting!

Last week we had a spectacular graduation where many of our P-TECH scholars earned their high school diploma from Newburgh Free Academy. This is an amazing achievement and we couldn't be more proud of every single one of them. This is the experience we strive for in P-TECH
