I actually teach every player, no matter the position, how to split gaps. If you can split the gap, you extend the possession. This can lead to a score for yourself or an assist for your teammate. There is some technique to this but we'll get into that in another video.

Stride stopping gives you a ton of options while playing off two feet. If the defense is behind you, you can "sneak" a layup by extending towards the basket. If the defense is in front you can pivot and shoot a turn around or pass out to an open teammate.
