Today is #WorldBeeDay, a day for us to raise awareness about the essential role bees play in our lives. So Florence Okojie, along with Scoil Treasa Naofa, went down to check out Inner City Beekeeping Project - Bee8 | The Liberties Community Project

This is Children's Hospice Week, so Barry Gallagher went along to a school who were dressing up as their heroes in aid of LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice, Ireland's children's hospice - as part of a fundraiser taking place in schools across the country. #ChildrensHospiceWeek

Today Barry Gallagher raced over to Donabate Portrane Special Olympics Club to spend the morning with some talented tots, taking part in the Special Olympics Ireland Young Athletes programme.

Some up and coming movie stars from MVW Talent Agency filmed and produced a short film called 'WANTED', which won Best Film for Kids at Dublin International Comedy Film Festival DICFF earlier this year! So Florence Okojie went along to see the BTS!

Today is International Potato Day so Florence Okojie put her wellies on and went down to Keoghsfarm to see what these small spuds from Ballyboughal National School in county Dublin were getting up to!

Some special members from the Rathmichael/Shankill Irish Girl Guides were learning the ins and outs of all things camping, as well as essential outdoor skills, so Florence Okojie tagged along to see what they were getting up to!

Today is #WorldEnvironmentDay, so Barry Gallagher blew into Oatlands college in Dublin, the winners of this year's ESB Weather Watch programme. It provides weather stations to schools in an effort to teach young people about the link between weather and renewable energy.

A primary school in Co Monaghan held a special event on farm safety today. It was organised for pupils at St. Daig's National School in Inniskeen, as farms will soon be busy for the summer months. Our North East Correspondent Marc O'Driscoll went along to find out more.
