Yesterday students planted sunflower seeds in containers to get them started and pulled weeds to help get the garden area looking good!

Students helped fill the metal scrap drive dumpster with fruit cans! Our metal scrap drive has been extended until Monday. Please help us raise funds for environmental projects for our students!!💚🌎

More garden planting today with students during Environmental Science class - halfway done!! We planted cold season vegetables that won’t mind the cold if mornings get frosty still. Seeds included: carrots, radishes, spinach, lettuce, kale, peas, beans and broccoli.

Birds of a Feather Blandford Nature Center came to NBCA today and spoke to our 1st and 2nd grade classes about different birds and why the stay at Blandford. The kids were very excited to learn about the different owls and falcons!
