If we electrify heating and transport, this chart goes green. Will reduce deaths from air pollution, reduce climate change, reduce the power and income of despots. And it'll be cheaper.

We don't post much these days but I took these recently and thought it worth sharing. In late 2018 we got some council funding to help introduce a hedge to this field boundary that needed refencing. These were only planted winter 18/19 so are coming on really well! #farmhedge

. skyjewels how is your summer going? Was inspired to tweet today as it seems like we've got a sudden bumper fledge up here with 40 or more birds in and around the place. Great to see after what seemed a sparse summer.

I cannot stress enough the importance of not cutting back hedgerows at this time of year. This beauty of a #hedge was covered in #nature’s bounty this week, which will provide so much food for #wildlife over the coming months. Please spread the word👇🙏 youtu.be/QKiLNIJd-DA

Bradley Hall (private farmhouse) near Wolsingham, Weardale. A medieval fortified manor house with traces of a moat, fishponds and ‘pillow mound’ rabbit warren. Fortified against the Scots by the Eure family in 1431 with licence from the Bishop of Durham 👉englandsnortheast.co.uk/weardale/

This has to be the best year for hawthorn blossom that I can remember. It's absolutely laden and we can see the hedges right across the valley...

We've got a two-hoop toastrack bike stand left. Is there a business or community group in County Durham that would like it? It's completely FREE of charge.
