I know that every parent in the world with an #autistic child wants to do what's best for their children. Likewise, my parents did that for me, & the main reason they did that is that they absolutely accepted me for who I was. #neurodiversity #autism

I have looked far and wide for quite a long time to determine, in any society or culture where maintaining eye contact is considered cordial or good manners. #neurodiversity #autism #autistic

A lot of people would say when they think of #autism or autistic children that they see eye contact as some form of an issue. The fact is, only around 5% of #autistic people have issues with eye contact. People just communicate differently, and that's ok. #neurodiversity

I have never really had an issue with eye contact. Does that make me not autistic or less autistic than other people? Certainly not! People communicate in different ways and that's fine. #neurodiversity #autism #autistic buff.ly/2USo4LV
