10 years ago, the NHS was scored by experts to be the best health system in the world. Today, it ranks worst in Europe. The Tories have intentionally driven the NHS to a position of crisis in order to justify accelerating privatisation.

Anybody who supports the death penalty is by definition supporting a system which results in the state killing innocent people. Only somebody with no understanding of history or criminal justice could fail to understand this. And such a person has no place in politics.

Justice Minister Mike Freer blames Labour and striking barristers for court backlogs: "If the opposition stopped backing strikers, then perhaps the criminal justice system wouldn't have the case backlog". As seen in the graph at the end - the court backlog pre-dates the strike.
