If I have to pay $6 to rent a 40 year old movie off Amazon when I have a Prime subscription then we should just reopen Blockbuster. I'd rather have their employees judge my life choices.

The West Village is a great example of how keeping the buildings the same does not preserve a neighborhood’s character, which is a product of the people who live there.

Palantir CEO Dr. Alex Karp: “You need a higher purpose, and I think you often need a lower purpose. Andrew Ross Sorkin: “What’s your lower purpose?” Karp: “I love the idea of getting a drone and having light fentanyl-laced urine spraying on analysts that tried to screw us.”

An iced coffee costs about $5 a day. That’s roughly $35 per week or $140 per month. Now you’re spending $1,680 per year. Over the course of 10 years that’s $16,680, which is not enough to make a down payment on house. So, enjoy your iced coffee.

Ossoff: "Among today's false prophets are the election deniers who indulge this president's obsession with overturning the 2020 election. Hear me when I say this -- they tell a lie so absurd, and therefore so debasing to tell, that the act of telling it proves the teller's total

Silly Little Guy I don't expect fast food to be healthy but at the very least I expect it to be cheap and to taste good. Otherwise, what's the point? And they're failing at these two basic requirements. Meat is dry, buns are stale, fries are soggy, and I'm paying $17 for it all.

Saw Joe Macken’s model at the Museum of the City of New York today and it’s SO impressive and awe inspiring as a craft. Like a more human Queens Museum Panorama, with imperfections. Huge problem though: you can only stand on the south end of it. Let us see the Bronx!

Massimo the wildest part is someone built this and thought "yes this is what the world needs." weve been building software for 25 years and the hardest lesson is that just because you can automate somethign doesnt mean you should. this isnt efficiency, its just micromanagement with a GPU
