Over the past few weeks I’ve gotten so much value from this framework - given to me by my coach - for difficult conversations. I don’t know where it came from but I do know it makes it so much easier to plan for and execute difficult conversations: 1. Observations - concrete,

Root causes to change resistance in construction are path dependence (“we’ve always done it this way”), fragmentation (“how could we possible control this whole supplier ecosystem?”), and incentives (“what’s in it for me?”). Once I seen things through these lenses everything made

Listened to the Lenny Rachitsky podcast on my run today with Jen Abel. So many great takeaways. I’m not in sales, but I do a lot of selling. It pays to learn.

Tried a test run last night for the calf. Plan was 10x1min jog off 1min walk. Got 3 in and the calf started to grab again. Back on the bike this morning. Got a feeling I’ll be using the bike a lot this block even once the calf heals. Feels like a solid way to get extra miles in

Used Gemini to coach me through this latest calf pull. Must say, it’s been great. No spectacular advice but well reasoned advice to keep me accountable.
