Something I find odd is that after many ambitious attempts at 3D FPS games and PC ports to the GBA very few were attempted on DS which sold better, was around longer and had far more power. Doom, Dark Arena and Wing Commander were worth a shot on GBA but not DS? Duke Nukem, too?

If movie studios had utilized CGI and proper casting to create faithful adaptations that people wanted to see no one would be turning to AI to see these characters brought to life. It's a market they had every opportunity and ability to fill and for twenty years they said no.
