At a kid’s birthday party where I am relegated to being called “k’s mom”. “Hey K’s mom! Can I have some water?”

Went out for dinner. Sent my husband a pic of my delicious meal - steak, cabbage, onions, in carrot butter. Turned off my phone. Was surprised to open it to so many 🍆emojis. Then I figured it out.

Mr. Peanut does not have a spat. That’s not a thing.

Bets on how long this will last in my house as soon as the kids come down the stairs and lay their eyes on it.

Being a lawyer is not easy. Owning a small business is definitely not easy. Small business ownership has been quite a ride, and I reflect on 10(!) years of it. 10! Holy moly.

Easter Weekend happiness in the #bywardmarket

A few exciting things. I stayed home with a sick kid and we had ice cream sundaes for lunch. And I got my personal taxes in to my accountant and am waiting for my trophy 🏆

My littlest guy has the flu.

The baby I carried in my belly during my articling year is in a movie with a date while I am waiting at the Cineplex cafeteria tables doing Legal Aid billing (I am not allowed in the theatre due to being overly an embarrassing person, according to him)
