The temple in Ayodhya is the Sangh’s temple, the assault on the rights of Kashmiris is the Sangh’s assault. Neither event associated with ‘August 5’ does India and its people any credit. | Siddharth thewire.in/communalism/sa…

Today also marks the first anniversary of the repression of seven million Kashmiris who have been incarcerated in their own homes, curfewed, with no internet and communication. The world stands compicit in its silence for enabling the fascism of Narendra Modi.

Several Indian-Americans petitioned against visuals of Lord Ram and the Ayodhya Temple being displayed at billboards in Times Square, New York, calling it a “celebration of hatred”and “vile display of fascism.” thequint.com/news/world/ind…

Criticism does not equal disrespect. It shows you care enough about something to have an opinion and seek improvement. #PrashantBhushan #contemptofcourt #SupremeCourtOfIndia #SCofIndia youtu.be/CGUEq9jYalQ

The 1st line of the order itself admits that voter lists shared with police CANNOT contain photos. ECI broke these rules & made these full voter lists WITH PHOTOS available to police after the Delhi pogrom. This is an easy way to identify minorities living in any area. (2/3)

The Spokesperson ECI should clarify - why was this done against rules? Scores of young Muslim innocent men were picked up by police arbitrarily. Are voter lists with photos being shared in other places too for building a “facial recognition” database? THIS IS SERIOUS! (3/3)

It’s important for the oppressed (and allies) to unite and support each other. No one is free until we are all free...

The Internet isn't going anywhere. People interested in justice and rights probably need to use it more effectively as a tool for social and political change.
