I went on an observation shift with a RRV (Rapid Response Vehicle) yesterday. It was such an insightful experience for someone from Control. Special thanks to Greater Manchester Police officers for a great interaction at a challenging incident especially!

A late happy #999Day to all my colleagues and counterparts in Greater Manchester Police, North West Fire Control and North West Motorway Police. We couldn't do our jobs without each other and it's always nice to speak to control colleagues knowing we have the same aim of Public Safety all around! #OneTeam π¨
I'm writing this whilst on a Bee Network night bus to Leigh. I am normally controlled by my routine but I stayed a little too late at the pub tonight π€£, so rather than a taxi, I got the V1. Punctual, safe and cheap. Well done Andy Burnham π¨π
This is why early CPR and aid are so important for out of hospital cardiac arrests. The more people who know how to render quality aid in these situations, the more stories like these we will see! resus.org.uk/public-resourcβ¦ nwas.nhs.uk/services/emergβ¦ #TeamNWAS π North West Ambulance Service
I attended a CPDme Portfolio Building Made Easy webinar tonight about the history of Emergency Preparedness from WW1 onwards. It was so interesting to see the origins of EPRR and the parallels to what we would say it is in the modern day. A massive eye-opener for sure π π #CPDme #CPDmadesimple
