Today I received a very important package 📦. In it is a Taschen book on Marilyn and a Chanel lite pink leather purse once owned by Marilyn. In the purse was a 15 kopek Soviet coin from 1955. This coin is very important. I'll explain later. #MarilynMonroe

In 1962 Marilyn went to Mexico to meet Fredrick Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt was a known communist. He was black balled by his wealthy family for his beliefs. Marilyn was thought by the FBI to be a Communist sympathizer. In fact her 3rd husband Arthur Miller was also a Communist.

This coin was given to Marilyn by her third husband Arthur Miller. Miller was a celebrated playwright but he was also a communist. When Marilyn died in August of 1962 this coin was found in her Chanel lite pink leather purse.

The FBI kept files on Marilyn and suspected her of being a Communist sympathizer. Although there is no evidence that Marilyn belonged to the Communist Party, The fact that her 3rd husband Arthur Miller was a known Communist raises some red flags.
