MEET OUR NEW OFFICERS!! 😃(the following tweets will be to introduce our speech and debate officers for the 2020 - 2021 season!)

Our one and only debate president this year will be the senior, Promise McClure! Here are some words from Promise that she would like to share. “My favorite part of debate is the huge confidence boost it gives me! I’m most looking forward to leading our wonderful debaters.”

Cecilia Nguyen will be our 2020 - 2021 Speech president! Here are some words from Cecilia. “Hi! I'm Cecilia Nguyen! I'm a senior and I can't wait to meet all of you and help you get to know speech more. I love that speech and debate gives you the ability to speak your mind!”

The Interp President this year will be the senior Emily Stoutjesdyk! Here are some words from her. “Hey guys! I am honored to be serving my 2nd year as Interp President! Speech and Debate is special to me because it gives everyone a space to develop their voice and freely speak.”

Olivia Dechert is a senior, and will be our Historian/Treasuer this year! Here is a short passage Olivia wanted to share. “I am exited to manage communications and contribute to the team. My favorite part of debate is *cough* winning *cough* sorry...the experience.”

Our Secretary/Head of Social Media will be the junior Tristan DeLong. Here are his thoughts! “Speech and Debate is a dedication of mine that I love with a passion. I am thrilled to give back to the team, and I know I have the capabilities to improve our community!”

The sophomore Cameron Munn will be our Vice President/Head of Public Relations! Here are his thoughts. ”I cannot wait to help coordinate initiatives to build upon a strong and successful program! I love being in debate because it empowers and educates everyone who participates.”

Lastly, the sophomore Maddy O’Neal will be our Squad Leader! Maddy would like to share a few words. “Hi!! Speech and debate is very important to me because it’s a community of open minded people that you can form relationships with and learn about relevant topics as well!!”
