So sad to hear that speech and language services are currently supporting approximately 750 children, have over 100 on their waiting list and an initial assessment waiting time of 6 months! This department desperately needs support and qualified staff to support the existing team

Yes because do wrong and beg forgiveness later is a theme of the SEB! This is entirely unacceptable behaviors. The government should have a process that allows for the evening playing field! No one should be treated differently as result of being ADHD or Autistic!

I’ll paraphrase we don’t welcome public scrutiny as we probably will end up engaging with organizations of a controversial nature with tenuous understanding. Wouldn’t think a list of organizations providing support would be so secretive 😀 Who have they engaged with 👀 ?

When my daughter was diagnosed I was asked how I felt. Like I should have shown weakness and have been devastated. I wasn’t though. A diagnosis didn’t change her. It meant we could finally understand HER. And thats what’s important ❤️ #AutismAcceptanceMonth
