Congrats!🥳 In 2024, New Bedford Public Schools earned a $6,141 rebate from the 122,825 pounds of clothing dropped off in the clothing bins by community members! Participating schools: Brooks, Campbell, Carney, Normandin, Pulaski, Swift, Vocational-Technical High School, & Winslow.

Our Waste Reduction Coordinator reuses glass bottles for iced coffee. Based on internet searches, the average cost of a 16-oz iced coffee for 365 days is $1,048. Making iced coffee at home costs about $248. Reusing a glass bottle provides a to-go option & saves about $800/year!
