Today in History, On 17 April 1967, Lt.-Gen E.K Kotoka (The man who engineered the overthrow of kwame nkrumah in 1966) was killed in an abortive coup attempt involving junior officers. The Ghana International Airport was renamed Kotoka International Airport in his memory.

Wearing the fugu fabric or batakari isn’t just about style. It’s about identity. Our culture travels with us, even into diplomatic spaces, and what we wear can say a lot about who we are and where we come from. Spotlight on Alumni and friends from the YDG community, proudly
