Sin is crushing and it sucks the spiritual life out of us. Sin is not just something that is bad and should be avoided, but it quenches the Holy Spirit in our life and destroys us spiritually.

Eternal life isn’t a destination we’re going to when this life is over, but a relationship we enter into with God now, that will last forever.
