Today is the 20th anniversary of the granting of Tristan da Cunha’s coat of arms. It features two Tristan rock lobsters and four albatross. The central wedge is taken from the arms of Tristão da Cunha, the Portuguese explorer who discovered the island 🇹🇦

A day spent on Nightingale Island. The beautiful yellow nosed Albatross is native to the island and it was very special to get so close. Tristan Nature 🐧🏆 Henry The Tristan conservation team & RSPB working together to ensure this magnificent species thrives.
