Within the long-standing and mutually-beneficial partnership between #NATO and 🇧🇦BiH, to include NATO and EU cooperation in BiH, NATO HQ Sarajevo Commander, Brigadier General Pamela L McGaha has briefed the top military leaders from NATO and EU nations in Brussels today.

in partnership with Kosovo NATO Advisory and Liaison Team and Kosovo Gender Advisor office, NHQSa is taking part in the International Forum for WPS in Pristina, in order to contribute to the important discussion on the integration of women into the defence and security sector.

Members of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo spent time with interns from the University of Sarajevo’s Faculty of Political Science to inform them about #NATO ’s role in BiH, and the priorities of our cooperation with BIH institutions.

The event serves as a platform for advancing NHQSa's DSSR efforts in BiH, underlining our collective commitment to peace and stability in the region.

BG McGaha joined senior military leaders from across NATO, including Admiral Rob Bauer to raise a toast 🥂 to 75 years of NATO and the 3.5m uniformed personnel who defend our freedom and security.

On this day in 1949,🇧🇪🇨🇦🇩🇰🇫🇷🇮🇸🇮🇹🇱🇺🇳🇱🇳🇴🇵🇹🇬🇧🇺🇸 signed the Washington Treaty, thereby creating the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Since then, NATO has become the most successful alliance in history, guaranteeing the safety & security of all 32 Allies.

Today, NHQSa COM, BG Pamela McGaha hosted the event to mark 75th Anniversary of #NATO Alliance.

In presence of BiH and international partners, the event showcased a photo exhibition of the 20–year partnership between NATO and BiH, and the key moments in history of the Alliance.

On April 1st, 2009, #Albania and #Croatia completed the accession process, officially becoming members of the Alliance.
