#FilmX The Bride Saw this today. Beautiful pastiche of Bride of Frankenstein, with a little Bonnie & Clyde thrown in the mix. A bit abstract, with some (likely intentional) unresolved plot points, but well shot, and excellent production. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kudos

#FilmX This movie is 40 years old and still disgusting yet emotionally powerful. The practical effects hold up astonishingly well.

#FilmX #ProjectHailMary It's only March, but I might have already seen the movie of the year today. This was absolutely incredible. Blew my mind. If you like science fiction even a little, you owe it to yourself to see this on the biggest screen you can find. Outstanding.

#FilmX When Star Wars (later retitled Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope) came out in 1977, it made me a space opera fan, a science fiction fan (indirectly--it would take the release of #TheBlackHole two years later to see that to fruition), and a cinema fan. The lasting legacy
