Big congratulations to senior Tyler Bass who broke the school 5k record of 16:31 with a 16:28 finish last Saturday. #BETrack

Senior Tyler Bass, sophomore Bryce Hogan, senior Isaiah Malone and junior Jack Gentry broke the school record today for the Distance Medley Relay (DMR) of 11:42 with an unofficial time of 11:22. “I’m very excited to break the school record, everyone ran strong,” said Malone.

Savannah Mooney is 4th in 18:57, Alex Egan 25th, Abbie Stevenson 69th, Makayla Meyer 87th, and Emma Ekbundit 159th in Girls Varsity!

Savannah Mooney gets her first win of the season at the Shelby Co. Invitational! She was followed by Alex Egan in 9th and Makayla Meyer in 18th in a race where we were short a few runners.

With Caroline Mooney in 6th, Savannah Mooney in 7th, Alex Egan in 30th, Makayla Meyer in 56th, Abbie Stevenson, and Emma Ekbundit, the girls team placed 4th of 21 at the super competitive Rumble Through the Jungle! We’re just getting started!

And just like that, the 5K XC school record is broken again! Congratulations to Savannah Mooney on 2nd place at Haunted Woods in a school record time of 18:41.5!

We also had a huge race and PR by Abbie Stevenson in 21:26 (39th)! Makayla Meyer was next in 21:48, then Emma Ekbundit (season best), Sam Meyer (SB), and Bethany Hopper (SB)! The girls were 10th of 20 without 2 of our normal top 3. Awesome work by our team!
