If you see a turtle crossing the road, you can help it by carefully picking up by the rear of the shell (never the tail) and moving it across the road. Always bring it in the direction it was travelling; they know where they're going.

Honk For Finches! Many birds flock to roads to feed on sediments to help with digestion. If you come across a flock of birds on the highway, please give them a honk! This is the most effective way to get them off the roads and ensure they don't become roadkill.
