🚜 POST-HARVEST STUBBLE BREAKING 🚜 To get the most benefit from stubble breaking it should be done as soon after harvest as possible and with the early start, you'll be looking at the tail end of harvest in the not-to-distant future. 📸: Bednar

After a dry summer and 200mm GSR, this lovely sand is showing its true capability’s! Seeing real bad non wetting experience this year all! At what point is it too expensive not to clay? Given the high input costs when does leaving acres out of production become a viable option?

Bit to see at in the re-engineering plots. There may be hope for the white gutless sands yet. High rates of clay spaded into 40,80,120cm all miles ahead of the control and spade only. Will be interesting to see what the header says Dr Gaus Azam Kanch Wickramarachchi

You might think think what the…. pushing penetrometer in the middle of summer in dry soil…. YES… but irresistible when I found last year’s delving and spading treatment held up soil strength like this in a sodic duplex soil at Wagin Ben Ball 🇦🇺Glenn McDonald
