The fundamental problem with renewables is low power density. That means they require a lot of land (or ocean) to produce lots of juice. The result: over the past few weeks, onshore & offshore, from Iowa to Ireland, & Colombia to New Jersey, renewable projects have been getting

"The typical power bill is set to rise about 2% this summer from a year ago," according to EIA. Pennsylvanians will pay more for energy because of House Democrats out-of-touch agenda. Inflation is falling, but not your electricity bill. cbsnews.com/news/inflation… via CBS MoneyWatch

President Biden's plan to ban gas stoves is an attack on the Americans that use gas stoves to cook for their families each and every day. Natural gas is a safe, reliable, and affordable energy source for Americans- it is time to pass the Gas Stove Protection Act NOW.

"To have this tax, to destroy our generation capacity, to destabilize the grid, to make energy unaffordable so our manufacturers are less competitive, this is just catastrophic all across the board." erienewsnow.com/story/49068750…

Calling it a tax on energy, #PAHouse Republicans worry that the state’s inclusion in RGGI, the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, could possibly cost residents big dollars. local21news.com/news/local/rgg…

Make no mistake, the mere threat of the $5.8b #RGGI CARBON TAX imposed an effective moratorium on natural gas plant development in PA, which cost thousands of PA union jobs, & paved the way for several natural gas plants to be built across the state line in Ohio.

Avoiding both heat and cold deaths requires affordable energy. In the US, cheap gas from fracking allowed millions to keep warmer with low budgets, saving 12,500 lives yearly. Climate policy, which makes most energy more expensive, achieves the opposite. nypost.com/2023/08/22/cli…

#SafetyTip: Damaged or defective lithium-ion batteries can cause fires. Look for a change in the battery color, noises, smoke, or leaking from the battery, or an electrical burning odor. Recycle damaged batteries at an approved drop-off location. #ElectricalSafetyMonth

It’s 18* at my house going down to 6* tonight. I’m thankful that my house is hooked up to clean burning natural gas produced right here in Pennsylvania. Share if you heat with gas.

Since PA joined RGGI in 2019, not a single large-scale natural gas power plant has been built in the state. Meanwhile, Ohio has built three & has a fourth on the way. WV is building, too. Pennsylvania? Zero.
