When will we stop the insanity & ban the common denominator of gun violence: military style assault weapons! Join the #PoorPeoplesCampaign to demand change of policies that keep militarism & the war economy in place at the expense of children! #NewZealand ow.ly/OXYU30o8CSz

Here's Laura Ingraham displaying my face to 2.5 million viewers and calling me a "little journo-terrorist." I am 29. I have no full-time job. I am teaching a single course, for $7k, as an adjunct. This is insane. And irresponsible. It is incitement. It is not okay.

BREAKING: Hawaii lawmakers passed our Survivors Not Criminals bill! All people in prostitution *except buyers and pimps* may vacate their prostitution conviction— no need prove sex trafficking victimization. May the bought + sold rise up against their buyers ✊🏾#SheIsAllWomen

This is how Bowman opened his victory speech— “Poverty is not a result of children and families who don't work hard...Poverty is by political design, and is rooted in a system that has been fractured and corrupt and rotten from its core from the inception of America.”

Nothing illustrates the ways racialized people are marked for discard better than the fact that "everyone" in this health official's mind somehow excludes Indigenous Pacific Islanders in Hawaiʻi

also, what on earth could possibly be the "same" socio-economic group in a place with staggering wealth inequality? Under capitalism? 🤦🏾‍♀️

Yes. Corporations like Walmart's are the freeloaders who fail to pay their workers a living wage. The state (in other words, we taxpayers) has to ensure that that they get the support they need to survive.@willcaronforHI Gary Hooser Nate Hix

Lol T-Mobile for changing my 2 free lines into $20 each. Once caught they apologized & said it was fixed. 6 months later, several calls, a visit to the store and it’s still not fixed. Their “solution” is to keep charging me extra & offer me a $100 gift card. I’m already out $240!
