I don't see how vision is any different - one can develop a better 'eye' as an artist or sportsperson...
My PhD student and I try to describe our lived experiences of #Aphantasia . Loren has a deaf and blind mind. She has no pre-experience of content when she writes direct from her subconscious. She also has unusual visual experiences.

Natalie Christie Peluso 🧠 This is such an important question! Honestly, I think at this point, the biggest limiting factor in mental imagery research is not any of the neuroscience tools but our limitations on getting accurate measurements of the subjective experience. Please help!
