NATA was thrilled to be able to offer its first core workshop since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Managing for Diversity across Florida's Unique Landscapes was offered in a hybrid format (comprised of both an online and in-person component) in November.

The Ordway-Swisher Biological Station conducts prescribed fire training as part NaturalAreasTrainAca. But conditions have to be just right, meaning only 10-15 prescribed burns are conducted in a year. A system of approvals along with regular check-ins throughout ensures everyone’s safety.
