'There was an increase in all measures of walking over the period 2012–2021 e.g. the percentage reporting any walking increased from 81.4% to 88.4%
Inequalities still exist by age, sex, and the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation but have not grown over time'

Meeting #physicalactivity guidelines is important, but using this as a cut-off excludes those who are starting out, or who are challenged by access or opportunity. Including 'no to low' movement as an additional tool in PA surveillance is one solution
