Is it ok if I don’t like this person (allegedly close) because I see how this person doesn’t like two people near and dear to me who I’ll forever love? Yes. Because I too can have my opinions.

It’s as if work in Corporate America for the youth isn’t important now. I feel like I’ve always worked my ass off. Different times. Guess they’ve figured it out in Corporate America better than we ever did (or does the lack of work ethic actually show a decline on the books)🤷

My mom always wanted to be around you g people because she said it kept her young. I loved being around her and I never felt old! Everyone will get old. Maybe I always knew that which was why I had such empathy and compassions. He knows it too! Love him.

When you make the best new memories and they are only yours together. (Well….maybe it’s best we’ll never share them-our gain!)😉

Despite noticing that they act as if it’s an obligation, you still try and try. We’d never tell that to those who’d never believe it though. We bite our tongues. They think we are amazing.

And when they said well-we’re always by you-you have the best area. (Well they certainly appreciate it) 😊 love those young gals. (And they love me too.) It’s nice to feel appreciated - esp when you need it.

They call their mom almost every day. (Just like I did). It’s so nice to see that this does still exist these days; even if for not everyone. 😢🫤

There was this level of trust. My mom would ask me things (even about how they treated me). I’d never tell him. But even if I did it wouldn’t have mattered. We both independently agreed about their lack of wanting to be involved.

Nancy S. Goldsmith (@nangold) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Why do we feel like we are being stifled even though we want so much to be involved? We’re starting to realize who we can attribute this to. Maybe it’s best to withhold giving so much. Or is that what the “calculated one” wants…so we can be bashed? Uch

Idk…I respect those people who make an effort to attend something important for someone else. I don’t always respect someone who uses excuses when it’s convenient. Sorry. I “see” these people where and for whom they place their efforts. They make a ta-do about routine visits.

This people who always use the “I’m sick” excuse when they are supposed to see you but they seem to be fine with everyone else. #cancelled

I’m beyond proud to say that my mom and dad shaped me and guided me in the best way they knew how. Nobody can change that. Don’t be influenced by others who question who you are, who you are or were close to. Otherwise, you’re really sadly weak and should be pitied.

Our generosity comes from the heart; with money but more so time. We should be respected for how much we show up, go out of our way and give of our time. I do not like those who accuse others of meddling when they are just justifying their own inactions. What’s wrong with people?

Nancy S. Goldsmith (@nangold) 's Twitter Profile Photo

We see you. You try to make believe you are doing the right thing. In actuality, you aren’t. Sorry, hon…can’t pull the wool over our eyes. You’re sadly transparent…and quit playing “sick”. And please stop thinking everyone on your end is so great and deserves more time. 🙄

Best and brightest all around community and beyond proud for all of the surrounding towns and counties for being on the right side of history…perhaps that is why we stand as #1 with such exceedingly educated voices in the USA! Always learning something. You’d be so proud, mom….

For those seemingly buttoned up planners (both mentally and physically), come talk to me especially if you are young. I’ll give you a thought provoking account of real life expectations and outcomes. However, you must be willing to easily handle change and imperfection. #control

🎶no no they can’t take that away from me🎶. I’m not sorry you’re not like me. You should’nt be sorry either. That’s what makes me special. No YOU go figure out what makes you special. 😃#special

Tired of our generosity being overlooked esp when we’re aware of what others haven’t done. The expectation is we’ve always been generous! The past Doesn’t count other than to criticize you. They don’t even know you that long. We’re smart and “see” you. We were never like that.
