It was such a pleasure catching up with Qiaz Hua 🐙. She was the 1st RA to join me in 2017 & helped build our lab from ground up. She is now Dr. Hua, doing her postdoctoral work in France. SO proud of her & wishing her the very best.

International Congress of Entomology in Kyoto with ~4000 participants. Happy to be part of insect enthusiasts from Singapore. For those at #ICE2024Kyoto, do check out these student talks on insect reproduction & ecology.International Congress of Entomology 2024 Kyoto JP

We had a great experience at #ice2024kyoto. Extra proud of our #reprolabnus students who presented their work confidently at such a large event. Loved talking science, reconnecting with old friends & making new ones. Insects for the win 🫶🏾International Congress of Entomology 2024 Kyoto JP

Very happy to share the news that our study on the genomics of sexual selection is now published with NatureEcoEvo! In collaboration with CRE (Center for Reproductive Evolution) and led by Zeeshan. Come for the comparative phylogenetics of 149 fly species and stay for the GWAS. doi.org/10.1038/s41559…
