Super Mario Bros. (1985) was just 40 KB Mario 3 (1988 JP / 1990 US) - 384 KB Super Mario World (1990) - 512 KB… less than some jpeg files out there. There’s something about packing that much joy into such insanely optimized code that inspires me… tiny files, massive worlds.
