1/3 We believe that economically sound people participate better in conservation process. This being the core concept, as in previous years, this year too, we distributed grafted plants of Lemon, Mango, Guava and Banana suckers in Adar and Gadgada villages. #KhariarSunabeda

2/3 Total of 700 plants have been distributed and planted by 130 beneficiary families. We also distributed 100 Amla and Jamun seedlings for planting on village common land and road sides. We also guided the people on post planting care. #KhariarSunabeda

3/3 Banana suckers & Papaya amongst others distributed last year, are now loaded with fruits and this is encouraging. #KhariarSunabeda

Continuing with our belief that positive reinforcement can bring about a change for the better. We organised a vegetable seed distribution program in 5 villages of Khariar Sunabeda. Covid protocols laid out by GoI were maintained during the program. #KhariarSunabeda #Odisha

We reached out to 105 families in  - Kholigaaon, Majhagaon, Halua palli, Rupiam and Soseng. Our endeavour to bring the King back to Khariar Sunabeda continues. #KhariarSunabeda #savetigers

Continuing with our campaign to raise awareness against Forest Fires, our next stop was the village Jharanamal in #KhariarSunabeda WLS. It was heartening to see villagers participate in large numbers and share their concerns about the forest & how much it means to them

We rounded off our forest fire prevention campaign in the peripheral villages of #KhariaraSunabeda with awareness programs at Malpada and Deodara. #Odisha

Our commitment to save Sunabeda from ravages of forest fire continues with support from Divisional Forest Office, Khariar & DFO Nuapada. 33 volunteers from various villages assembled at Komna Kalyan Mandap on 6th Mar'22 to deliberate on fire conservation.

We organised a motor cycle rally in the interior villages of Sunabeda Sanctuary yesterday, 17/03/2022 including the street play to drive home the necessity of fire conservancy in forest area, with active support of Divisional Forest Office, Khariar & DFO Nuapada.
