90s trends are having a moment so you're giving the people what they want. I get it. Also, I can guarantee that literally NO ONE is missing the ads they used to have to put up with. Services deciding to add ads even when you're paying for an ad-free subscription is infuriating.

When job hunting gets too depressing, I visit the social media accounts of the company I used to work for & spend ~1 minute mentally fixing the poor grammar, punctuation, & syntax choices in multiple posts. It's a nice way to reaffirm that I should be confident about my skillset.

Like at least once a month I have a moment of fury when I think about how you used to pay $150 and own Microsoft software while now we're charged $100 every single year + everything we write or do is feeding their proprietary AI system. 🤬🤬🤬

Sorry, The New York Times, this is not the moment I start taking the weekly news quiz. I want to feel some joy some of the time.

"Ignorance is bliss" is really seizing its moment.

My fiction tends to feature white characters and I've been feeling weird about that. It hit me today though that I'm writing about people doing weird shit and I'd rather general "Well that's despicable" reactions are attached to fictional white people instead of brown ones.

I saw 'Little Women' in theaters twice. The first time with my friend Matt. The second time with my friend Kathleen because her husband wasn't interested. He's a big movie guy too. But nope, no interest in a movie titled 'Little Women.'

It's so insulting to imply that the only reason someone is very upset about something is because they have bipolar disorder and can't control their emotions. We have feelings and opinions like everyone else and they often have nothing to do with our diagnosis.

My favorite use of AI is the reels where popular characters are morphed into baby versions of themselves.

I've been super thirsty this last day. The last time I was hit with polydipsia, it was cause a manic episode was around the corner. I'm hoping for unearned joy and super productivity instead of insane anxiety coupled with insomnia. 🤞🤞
