Our final today rocked! Students ended the semester on such a high note organizing the closing session and showcasing their Hamra projects and vision for the neighborhood. And of course super grateful to amazing colleagues who were with us throughout the journey.

Last few sessions before the final of the planning and design workshop this coming Friday! Students coming together to design the last class and have a vision and manifesto for Hamra.

I attended a great thesis defense last week by Reine a Chedid supervised by Mona Fawaz; Mona Harb and Ahmad el Gharbie, was very interesting to understand Hamras urban transformation from the lens of landlordism. It was fascinating!

it seems silly to ask here especially given everything, but i'll try.

i am considering teaching a new elective on 'the politics of design' (architecture, urban, visual, and engineering).
