Bamise was my age mate. Now, she’s no more, because she entered a BRT, a government owned bus in Lagos. I’m sorry, Bamise. The country failed you. LAMATA must pay for this. Everyone involved must pay. She could have been anyone! #JusticeForBamise

Bamise's death can happen to anyone. Please, join in the protest for justice. This was not a danfo. Not a street taxi. It was a government-backed bus. Is that not crazy?

To be honest, the way this world is set up, any man who wants to be faithful to his wife has to be somewhat extra. This isn’t a rule of thumb but I have put certain parameters in place to make sure alarms go off if temptation is too close for comfort:

Most importantly, I love my wife. I love everything about her. I don’t want to not have this much access into her personal space. So I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure I don’t lock myself out just because of lust. She’s worth more to me than a cheap thrill.

I lost a brother today. He was a Soldier. No, Boko haram didn’t kill him, Bandits didn’t. He didn’t die at the war front. He was shot in the stomach by DSS in Lekki, when he attempted to bring out his ID card. Again, Nigeria failed its own. My God!😭😭😭 #JusticeForPeter

Security is a mess! How can you get murdered in a BRT? Not one chance! BRT. Publicly run by the government. Bamise could be anyone, I'd rather enter a BRT than a danfo at night, now even that appearance of safety has been taken from us.

𝕍 Free Indeed Its more like putting preventive measures in place to stay faithful. Because the thing is even if you don't go after trouble, it always has a way of coming to look for you plus there are times you'll find yourself in vulnerable positions so one has to be intentional about it.

When there are little or no consequences for evil doing , evil doers are emboldened. Thus, we end up building a society where evil is waiting to befall everyone.

Free Indeed Very insightful and helpful for anyone that wants to stay faithful. As an addendum, pray when temptation knocks your door, it will help you to overcome. Also intentionally close your eyes from every other person other than your partner, no matter how nice, kind or beautiful.

Sanwo-olu has to explain what happened to Bamise on BRT 948. The ritual killing of Bamise raises question about the security of public transport in Nigeria. May her soul rest in peace.

How do you dismember a passenger in a BRT? Was she the only passenger? Was the bus hijacked by killers? Who is the driver and what does he have to say? How many people have been killed in a BRT in similar fashion? Too many questions.....

Free Indeed I love this thread, and it is easier for a Carmel to pass through a needle than finding a faithful man. May God uphold and instill discipline and strength in the heart of men that genuinely want to be faithful to their partners 🙏

@Missadebakin 𝕍 Free Indeed Ur reality is different from that of a man. His tweet was about temptation checkers for men, not women. It doesn't matter hw righteous, u let ur guards down & things could go south, that is why u see even some decent men of God fall. Those that fell didn't ❤️ their wives less.

The number of murderers freely roaming around Nigeria is alarming. And not just your everyday thug. We're talking hotel owners, entrepreneurs, "pillars of the community", public office holders, etc. Killers walking in the guise of responsible and respectable people.
