I went through about 10 years of reader’s block and I hated it. I’ve always been a very avid reader (even worked in a bookstore) and it was killing me. I am finally back on my addiction!

Damn, the chapter I’m currently working on is at 6,500 and there’s still so much I want to include in this chapter.

lol I guess Alton Brown is cooking me dinner since I just binged a full season of Good Eats.

Ugh every time I kiss a guy and yet it still took me forever to figure out that that was because I’m gay as hell.

This definitely doesn’t include the ridiculous amount of tabs I have open on both my phone and iPad for research.

We all know Brittany S. Lopez-Pierce is having the time of her life as a Rockette.

I have so many bullet points of random things that I want to include that I have to sort them into a calendar for when I want them to occur to even begin to make any resemblance of a story.

I write out certain plot points for myself that I want to hit during a chapter before I start writing the actual chapter and those small descriptions are usually 100-150 words each with no dialogue and action.

I need and thrive on historical accuracy in my writing even if I am the only one that will notice. I would be terrible at fantasy because what do you mean I have to create an entire world with its own history. Also, I may have Lush scents of 2020 in my search history.

I love that it’s canon that Brittany is fluent in Spanish despite 👞 terrible teaching and that she loves Telenovelas. But it’s also either it’s canon that she lived in Puerto Rico when she was little or she was so slick with that lie. Also she popped a hip while ✂️ with Santana!
