Great read! Speaking from someone who has built and used GraphQL in different ways in the last nearly a decade.

In my experience, the more api consumers you have with varied use cases more are the chances you will need something like GraphQL

Dax I think the biggest challenge is the DB and cold starts. We have projects deploying Vendure to Google Cloud Run but even that adds complexity.

What does work very well is a regular long-running node instance + edge caching with CF & Stellate ⚡️.
