People like this is why this storyline is so important. It’s an accurate portrayal of coercive control and abuse. I’m thankful these people have never had to experience this situation for themselves and hope they never do, but they should reserve judgement and listen.

This is exactly what Tourette’s does to those with verbal tics, it’s the bodies involuntary, often loud expelling of taboo and often offensive language. The reason the N word came out is because his mind correlates it being the most offensive term in the moment to β€œI must say it”

You shouldn’t have children to have a legacy, you should be the one making a legacy of yourself by doing something that the world will notice or just being a good person that those around you will remember fondly.

I saw this last night and it was genuinely one of the best Pixar films of recent memory. Up there with the original Pixar Golden Age Classics. It has moments of sadness, of fear and plenty of humour and its message is important. Kids should definitely see this.

Many people use accessibility aids like wheelchairs but are able to walk, move or even dance for short periods of time, we don’t know what is happening in people’s bodies and this is not evidence that the wheelchair isn’t needed.

What is it about having they/them pronouns that makes people refer to you as she/her? I get it all the time online and I remember once in hospital my ex kept using my pronouns and the nurse continually referred to me as she/her. I don’t mind those pronouns for myself, but still.
