Can someone please explain what I’m missing? If Aging is targeted at the best horses in the game to allow room for new users to be competitive, won’t all the 1.0/2.0s just be way more selective, killing paid racing and discouraging new users because they’re still going up

There will be no Lucky Maiden this time. zed_run I was trying to figure out how to run the tourney to support zed yet they’ve lied to + betrayed their biggest/most loyal users legit out of 100ks/Mills of values, and realized I can’t be making that behavior acceptable. (Cont.)

@0xPaperhands SRS - BURGY The breeding upside and process of discovering of that upside were what made ZED so addictive for so long. I saw Jamie Lucas point this out earlier, both were snatched away in one fell swoop. I think a couple small tweaks to breeding 3.0 could find the happy medium.

Intense Stables High base ability is what gives Z1s and Z2s value so the fixed breeding algorithm would necessarily need to incorporate base ability as the most important trait in breeding.
