The already fragile music ecosystem is further threatened by these actions, so MVT supports the #NoArtWithoutArtists campaign by Scottish Music Industry Association, and have signed their open letter.

An important thread here from The FAC Everyone in the industry should be working to create the grassroots contribution Culture, Media and Sport Committee was told would be delivered. If the industry can’t or won’t do that we reluctantly agree with FAC; it will be time for a statutory levy.
